At
R&F Stables we are focused on providing a fun, safe facility where our clients
can enjoy the time they spend with their horses. Located just outside Poolesville,
Maryland; our farm is part of the Potomac Hunt territory with whom we frequently
hunt. Bittersweet Field, home of the Seneca Valley Pony Club Trials, is a
short ride down the road. We also have immediate access to miles of beautiful
trails including the C&O Canal Path. The new Moritz Woodstock Equestrian Center
is being built a short distance away.
We have 60 box stalls, separate tack rooms for our boarders
and a wash stall with warm water. There are 70 acres of pasture. Some of our
pastures have run-in sheds for our field boarders.
The 70'x150' indoor ring has lights and sprinklers so our
lesson programs can continue year round. The outdoor ring is 110'x200' with
nice sand footing. We typically use both rings when we host shows at our farm.

Ross
and Faith Fields are the primary force behind R&F Stables. Ross and
Faith grew up with horses as active participants in U.S. Pony Club and 4-H Club
activities, respectively. They are still active in Pony Club with coaching and coordination
of Seneca Valley Pony Club regional and national activities. Ross and Faith are
members of the Potomac Hunt where they compete on Hunt Teams in the region and at
the Washington International Horse Show. Ross is currently serving a second term
on the Potomac Hunt Committee. They both teach lessons to a variety of students
and judge local shows. Ross and Faith participate in the non-profit regional UPCO
Horse Shows association.
